현재 서울에서 거주 및 활동
안종현(1982, 서울)은 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 작가로 사진의 물질적 기록과 미학적 재현이라는 이중적 특성에 천착하여 인간과 사회, 인간과 자연, 현재와 역사의 관계를 재조명한다. <붉은 방>(2011), <미래의 땅>(2013), 통로(2015), <시작의 불>(2019), <멀리 가까이 중간>(2020) 등 다양한 작업을 발표해왔다. 제11회 일우사진상 및 사진비평상, 미래작가상, KT&G 상상마당 올해의 작가 등을 수상, 선정받았다. 작품은 박건희문화재단, KT&G 상상마당, 고은사진미술관 등이 소장하고 있다.
스페이스55의 대표로서 기획자로도 활동하고 있으며 2021년 시차적응 전시 및 nft 를 활용한 메타버스 전시를 기획하였다
